Personally I see magic about that level regardless, after all it's something that's finite. You get so many spells before you're out of mana and simply made into a in cushion. The issue is that it doesn't work as that and instead you're the infinite magical cannon whilst melee is pathetic in comparison and spends considerable time in stagger. I think it was seen in Mount and Blade and thought "it works there so let's use it" but it's not every hit staggers and I think that's the lesson to be taken... add weight! If a blow has a certain amount of weight the exceeds the players own weight stat then have it stagger them, much like Dark Soul's "Poise" system.

I havent played in a long while and so I downloaded the whole new version. It seems to be moving along and I am looking forward to features added in like quests, character development etc.
The bug I am experiencing is sometimes the goblins dont move. They just sit there or float. I did restart the game with ultra settings and they attacked normally. However, after some time playing, they went back to not moving. When this state is happening, some goblins will move but wont aggro

Another thing I noticed today is yesterday's game wouldnt re-load. So I started a new game and died at the Goblin stronghold and it wouldn't reload the new game after I hit continue. The loading screen froze similar to what happened when I tried to load yesterdays game.

I'll keep editing this single post for the bugs for version 0.5.30.5.

I'm currently noticing a FPS drop rather than an increase of about 10-15 fps (spec from DX below).

There is also a bug whilst switching from spell to sword that the sword won't properly sheath. Keeping the animation of the wielded sword whilst actually being sheathed on the belt. This requires you to press sheath a second time.

Mermon (or whatever it's named) forest is inaccessible from the route I took coming directly from the cave near the starting position. Same appears to be the case for Chaar/Charr zone via starting location access. I assume these are inaccesible intentionally?

Same cursor bugs with RTS menu as before with the cursor jumping. There is also some cursor issues with the cursor popping up during melee attacks.

Fixtures floating, but no floating chickens yet. Floating goblins confirmed.

Graphical flaring (seen as blue wispy flashes of light from trees). Also saw some graphical issues with the floormat in the tent near the start point in the east a long with flaring from the Riftstone opposite it in the northern direction.

Market vendors will cut their own dialog off and begin a new line half way through reciting another. "Armour of the gia- I still have some gear for the poor". I think he realised the kings current economic situation half way through...

Loading Region 1" bug. Infinite load screen from the continue button. Save game issues, with all saves leading to this issue. (All tried on new saves started from the newest patch).

Multiple (near all) house NPC's repeat dialogue "get away from me" constantly. This leads to a town filled with people screaming "get away from me". Also, golems keep falling through floors/steps/walls etc.

After getting the email notice of Steam early access coming soon I decided to give this game another try.

Ver 5.30.6
I progress fairly well in game with successful save and continues until I reach the point where I build a Barracks and then next time I try to continue a game I get the endless loading loop. None of my saves will load after this point.
After starting several new games I have been unable yo get past this point.
Note I am running a fairly powerfull system with an almost steady 60 fps.
No other bugs to report.
Edit : no save work not quite true if I go back far enough - before starting barracks construction I can get it to load

I had a strange bug where the game doesn't let me equip the first 2 spells - trying to drag and drop, double click, etc... In the end I ended up overwriting the fireball with Circle of Fire..somehow.
Now I got 2 Circle of Fire
